There are times in our lives when emotional and/or physical pain seems to consume us.
Sometimes we want something out of our reach.
Sometimes we compare our lives with the lives and circumstances of others and feel we are lacking in material goods, social status or opportunity.
Quite often, there is a space between where we currently are and where we think we should be. When we become more concerned about the distance between those two points than we are about living in our current space and circumstances, we trigger the body’s stress responses.
“Now” might not be what we consider perfect, and it’s important to have goals, however there is value in every moment of every day.
